 JOIN SWPA
Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Sedona Wedding
Professionals Association. We LOVE the energy, new ideas, and enthusiasm
that new members bring to our community and look forward to considering your
request to join us.
Along with agreeing to support and abide by SWPA's Mission Statement and
Code of Ethics (please read both of these before submitting your request to
join), the basic requirements for becoming a member of SWPA include:
- Physically residing in Sedona, Village of Oak Creek, Cottonwood,
Clarkdale, Cornville, Camp Verde, Page Springs, Lake Montezuma, or Rim Rock
for a minimum of one year.
- Being in business for one year prior to application.
- Providing two local business or professional references and two client
references, not including significant others or immediate family members,
all pertaining and relevant to the wedding industry, that are able to speak
to the quality and professionalism of services provided by the applicant
business.
- If your business requires licensing to practice legally, producing a
current license.
If you meet these four requirements, and agree to abide by the principles
outlined in SWPA's Mission Statement and Code of Ethics, then fill out the
request form and hit the submit button (see below).
Once you've submitted your request to join SWPA, here are the next steps:
- SWPA's Leadership Team will send you an application, a copy of SWPA's
Bylaws and Code of Ethics to review, and a signature page for you to sign
and return, indicating you have read, understand, and agree to abide by the
terms presented.
- You need to return:
a. Complete application,
b. Signature page,
c. Two (2) vendor and two (2) former client references,
d. Initial membership fee of $255.00 ($225.00 for first year of
membership, plus $30.00 processing fee).

Incomplete applications or those not accompanied by all materials will not
be processed.
3. Once all completed items have been returned, SWPA Leadership will check
your references and consider your request to join. Your check will not be
processed until you have been accepted as a member of SWPA.
